Fun trip with first time fishing enthusiasts. Beautiful, tropical weather and smooth seas out to Anacapa. Despite a dose of Dramamine, Vicky was still feeling under the weather by the time we reached Arch Rock. Ended up with some residual large swell from the tropical storms off Baja, so we moved to the other side of the island where things were a bit flatter.

Vicky stuck it out and found the true cure for sea sickness was the utter excitement of catching her first yellowtail. The rest of the days catch included numerous Barracuda and Christopher caught his first yellowtail. Thanks Vicky, Al, Ray, Christopher, Nicholas and first time deckhand Charles from Fish On Customs.
